Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
Texas doesn’t have a statewide license for roofing contractors. Roofing isn’t on TDLR’s list of the industries it licenses. Ask your city’s building department whether a permit or local registration applies, and ask the roofer for proof of insurance and a written contract.
